Terms and Conditions
Effective January 1, 2026
Cornerstone El Paso Concrete & Masonry, elpasoconcreteandmasonry.com, hi@elpasoconcreteandmasonry.com
Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Cornerstone El Paso Concrete & Masonry to do. When we say "we," "us" or "our," we mean Cornerstone El Paso Concrete & Masonry and our crew. When we say "you," we mean the person using this site or hiring us for a job.
By using this site or accepting an estimate from us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or book work with us. A written estimate or agreement for your job can add to these terms, and if the two disagree, the written agreement for your job controls.
What we do
We're a masonry contractor in El Paso, TX, and we do concrete and masonry work such as foundation repair, brick and stone work, block walls, retaining walls, pavers, walkways, chimneys, fireplaces and outdoor kitchens. You can see the full list on our home page and read more about our crew on our about page.
The descriptions on this site are general. They explain the kind of work we do and how it usually goes, but they aren't a promise about your specific job. The scope of your job is whatever is written in the estimate or agreement you accept.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, and there's no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure when we visit, the materials you choose and the work we agree on.
Masonry jobs sometimes turn up things nobody could see before the work started, like a damaged footing, buried debris, rotted framing behind veneer or soil that won't hold a base. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and explain the options. We won't do extra work or charge more for it until you approve the change, in writing or by text or email.
An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, material costs may have changed, so we may need to update the price before we schedule the job.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
Once you accept an estimate, we'll give you a start date. Dates are our best plan, not a guarantee, because weather, material deliveries and conditions found on the job can move them. Mortar and concrete need the right temperature and dry conditions to cure properly, so we'll reschedule rather than pour or lay in weather that would weaken the work.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (915) 265-1230 as soon as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered special materials or started work, you'll be responsible for materials we can't return and for work already done. Anything else about cancellation is spelled out in your written agreement.
We need clear access to the work area on the scheduled days. Please move vehicles, furniture and anything else that's in the way, and keep pets and children clear of the job while we're working.
Payment
The payment schedule for your job, including any deposit and when the balance is due, is written in your estimate or agreement. We'll tell you up front which payment methods we accept.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid. If a balance stays unpaid, we may take the steps the law allows to collect it, which can include filing a lien on the property where the work was done.
Our work and warranty disclaimers
We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work. If something isn't right, tell us and we'll come back out, look at it and work with you to make it right. Any specific warranty for your job is the one written in your agreement, and it covers only what it says.
Apart from what's written in your agreement, our work and this website are provided "as is," and to the extent the law allows, we don't make any other warranties, express or implied. That includes implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Brick, stone, concrete and mortar are natural materials. Some variation in color and texture is normal, and so are small hairline cracks in concrete as it cures and settles. Materials made by others, such as pavers, veneer, fireplace units and sealers, carry their makers' warranties, and we'll pass along that paperwork to you.
Our work isn't covered for damage caused by things outside our control, including ground movement, flooding, poor drainage on the property, tree roots, vehicles heavier than the work was built for, changes or repairs made by others, or misuse.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of the property, lost income or loss of enjoyment.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Texas law, such as liability for our own gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing.
The information on this website is general and is provided for your convenience. We try to keep it accurate, but we aren't responsible for decisions made based only on what you read here without an estimate at your property.
If we have a disagreement
If you're unhappy with something, please call us first at (915) 265-1230 or reach us through our contact page. Most problems get solved with a conversation and a visit to look at the work, and we'll try to settle it that way.
If we can't work it out within a reasonable time, either of us may take the dispute to the state or federal courts located in El Paso County, Texas, and both of us agree to those courts handling it.
Governing law
These terms and any agreement for work with us are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. That applies wherever the job is, including work we do in the cities we serve in New Mexico, unless the law of the place where the work is done says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page. Changes don't affect a job you've already agreed to in writing, which stays under the terms in place when you accepted the estimate.
If you keep using this site after we post changes, you're agreeing to the updated terms.
Questions about these terms
If anything here isn't clear, ask us before you book. Call (915) 265-1230, Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 9 PM, or send a message through our contact page, and we respond within 1 business day.
